    • Photo of your child (passport style - no sunglasses or hat)
    • Relevant medical/dietary/behavioural plans (if applicable)
    • Travel insurance details (if applicable)

 

Eligibility Information:

    • International Girl Guides/Girl Scouts aged 14-17 years by 1st September 2025.

    • Must be endorsed by International Commissioner


🚨 Please ensure you use the date format YYYY-MM-DD in your application.

🚨 All Youth Members must achieve a minimum of 6 nights under canvas before attending Jamboree.

🚨 International participants will have the option of purchasing a Camp Sleep Kit including a sleeping mat, sleeping bag, blanket, inflatable pillow and mess kit for an additional AUD$200.

This application is for Youth Members of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts Associations outside of Australia. If you are not an international Member/attendee, please visit the Jamboree 2025 website and complete the domestic youth application form.

4. Travel Arrangements

All participants attending Jamboree will not be allowed to be dropped off at the Jamboree site and are expected to travel with their contingent to Jamboree. International attendees conducting additional independent travel outside of their country contingent travel should contact their Member Organisation for more information on where to meet their contingent.

Will your child arrive in Australia for independent travel before Jamboree &/or stay later for more travel?

Additional Travel Insurance is required if you are conducting independent travel. Please provide details of your Travel Insurance provider.

Camp Sleep Kit

International participants have the option of purchasing a Camp Sleep Kit including a sleeping mat, sleeping bag, blanket, inflatable pillow and mess kit for an additional AUD$200. This option is offered to assist international attendees in reducing the amount of luggage they need to bring to camp. If you select 'No' below, you will need to bring your own sleeping gear with you to camp.

5. Medical Statement

Please be aware that you may incur an out-of-pocket cost for unexpected medical related expenses such as ambulance transfers if not covered under your Member Organisation or Private Health Insurance. We recommend that everyone obtains Australia Wide Ambulance Insurance for Jamboree OR ensure that your private health insurance covers Emergency Ambulance transfers Australia Wide to remove this risk.

Immunisation. It is recommended that your child is fully immunised as per the National Immunisation Schedule. Check this with your doctor and also provide the date of your child's last tetanus immunisation.

8. Inclusion

Does your child require any support while they are at Jamboree? For example, they function best when they get an hour to themselves each day to decompress, or they take regular medication that must be kept refrigerated and taken with meals.

Does your child have any cultural needs (e.g. EAL/D, fasting, specific prayer times, etc.) ?

9. Participant Preferences

I authorise Girl Guides NSW, ACT & NT, Girl Guides Australia, and any person authorised by them to reproduce, publish, broadcast or do any of the acts comprised in the copyright subsisting in photographs, video tapes, voice recording of the Youth Member in any form deemed appropriate by Girl Guides NSW, ACT & NT or Girl Guides Australia. I hereby release Girl Guides Australia and Member Organisations of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS), from all claims, demands, actions, proceedings, costs or expenses relating to or arising out of use of this material.

10. Jamboree Payment

Your child's Jamboree application payment will be collected by your Member Organisation and may include additional contingent & activity fees.

The International Youth Application Fee is AUD$1650 + optional Camp Sleep Kit AUD$200.

 

There may also be additional costs depending on which activities are chosen.
